About the Job

The trustless Bitcoin vault invention opens a huge range of DeFi opportunities for native Bitcoin: lending, stablecoin issuance, and derivative-based DEXes. We’re looking for a Staff Software Engineer specialized in Solidity DeFi smart contract development.

As a staff software engineer, you will play a critical role in building the Solidity smart contracts for the Bitcoin vault, and integrating the Bitcoin vault contracts with DeFi protocols in Ethereum ecosystem. You'll work closely with the product team, protocol engineers, and external DeFi projects.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Solidity smart contracts for the Bitcoin vault protocol.
• Collaborate with other DeFi projects for integrating the Bitcoin vault protocol with existing DeFi protocols.
• Collaborate with the product team to ship high-impact features across the Bitcoin vault-based DeFi protocol
• Establish workflow and best practices for smart contract development, and work with security auditors for ensuring the contracts' security.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Solidity smart contract development, with 3+ years of experience writing performant and secure smart contracts
• Strong proficiency in smart contract development and deployment in EVM ecosystem
• Deep knowledge of DeFi products, with familiarity to source code of major DeFi protocols
• Self-driven, creative, collaborative, and thrive in ambiguity and fast paced environments.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience in Bitcoin ecosystem
• Experience in building lending, stablecoin and/or derivative-based DEXes
• Contributions to open-source DeFi projects
• Experience with DeFi product mainnet launches and upgrades
• Knowledge of smart contract auditing practices and tools (e.g., fuzzing)
