About the Job

The trustless Bitcoin vault invention opens a vast range of DeFi opportunities for native Bitcoin: lending, stablecoin issuance, and derivative-based DEXes. We’re looking for an experienced DeFi guru to lead product design and execution to grow this technology across crypto.

This is a highly cross-functional role that will work closely with Babylon’s engineering, research, business development, and community teams as well as our external ecosystem partners. This person will play a pivotal role in setting our long-term roadmap and ensuring our products are deeply valuable to developers, validators, users, and other blockchain ecosystems.

Responsibilities‍

• Designing the products to be released in partnership with DeFi apps
• Collaborate closely with engineering, research, and BD teams to ship high-impact features across the Babylon protocol and tech stack
• Engage with external stakeholders and partners to validate product decisions and surface new opportunities
• Foster a deep understanding of the user needs across ecosystems—Bitcoin holders, blockchain and dApp developers, validators, and more

About You

• Deep knowledge of DeFi products
• Strategic thinker with deep empathy for users and a bias toward execution
• Equally comfortable thinking big and zooming into the technical weeds.
• Self-driven, creative, collaborative, and thrive in ambiguity and fast paced environments.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in DeFi product design and management
• Hands-on experience in the product design in lending, stablecoin, and derivatives DEX is a strong plus
• Proven track record of driving DeFi product strategy and execution from zero to one in high-velocity environments
• Strong technical fluency—able to engage deeply with engineering and research teams
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
