Responsibilities:
- Understanding of Sanctions & CTF risks, controls, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Support the development and implementation of compliance monitoring and testing frameworks within a second line of defence environment, with a focus on Sanctions & CTF risks.
- Assist in identifying, documenting, and assessing compliance risks related to Binance’s activities, and provide input and recommendations as needed.
- Collaborate with internal teams across Compliance and other departments to help manage Sanctions & CTF related risks effectively.
- Keep up to date with regulatory and internal changes that may impact Binance globally.
- Help assess the FCC risk profile of various business areas and support related projects, policies, procedures, and systems.
- Participate in knowledge sharing initiatives within the team and industry to stay informed about evolving regulations and risk trends.
- Develop basic project management skills by supporting projects and helping to deliver quality outputs on time.
- Communicate challenges and different viewpoints professionally while building positive working relationships.
- Some exposure to external stakeholder interactions such as regulators, auditors, or industry groups is a plus but not required.
Requirements:
- 1-3 years of experience in compliance or financial crime compliance, preferably in an international environment
- University degree or equivalent qualification
- ACAMS or ACFCS certification is a plus but not required
- Strong analytical skills, good writing ability, and sound judgment
- Basic understanding of the FCC domain, related processes, and relevant technology
- Some experience or interest in supporting strategic initiatives and compliance oversight
- Ability to collaborate effectively across different teams and locations
- Pragmatic, energetic, and eager to learn
- Demonstrates learning agility with a critical and innovative mindset
- Able to build positive relationships and motivate others
- People-oriented with strong interpersonal skills
- Clear and effective communicator, able to explain complex topics simply to help others understand the importance of managing Sanctions & CTF risks
