Binance is seeking a Senior PR Manager to lead public relations and communications for Vietnam, one of the most important and high-potential crypto markets in Southeast Asia.
This role will own the end-to-end PR strategy for Vietnam, including media relations, thought leadership, issues management, and regulatory-sensitive communications.
The ideal candidate is a seasoned local PR leader with deep Vietnam media relationships, strong judgment in complex regulatory environments, and the ability to elevate Binance’s credibility and trust in the market.
Responsibilities:
- Vietnam PR Strategy & Market Leadership:
- Own and execute Binance’s PR and communications strategy for Vietnam, aligned with global positioning and regional priorities.
- Shape Binance’s long-term reputation, trust, and public narrative in the Vietnam market.
- Provide strategic counsel to regional and global stakeholders on Vietnam-specific communications risks and opportunities.
- Media Relations & Thought Leadership:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with top-tier Vietnamese media, including business, financial, tech, and mainstream outlets.
- Secure high-impact coverage through interviews, features, commentary, and executive profiling.
- Position Binance and its leadership as credible voices on crypto, blockchain innovation, financial literacy, and responsible adoption.
- Regulatory-Aware & Risk-Sensitive Communications:
- Work closely with Legal, Compliance, and Policy teams to ensure all communications are accurate, compliant, and appropriate for Vietnam’s regulatory landscape.
- Support communications related to regulatory developments, enforcement news, or policy discussions in a calm, factual, and responsible manner.
- Lead or support issues and crisis communications when required.
- Campaigns, Announcements & Market Activation:
- Lead PR execution for product launches, partnerships, campaigns, and corporate announcements in Vietnam.
- Ensure messaging is locally relevant while remaining consistent with regional and global narratives.
- Coordinate closely with Marketing, Social, Community, and Global PR teams.
- Agency & Stakeholder Management:
- Manage local PR agencies and external partners, ensuring high quality, consistency, and accountability.
- Act as the main PR point of contact for Vietnam-related initiatives across internal teams.
- Advise senior leadership and spokespeople on media strategy and positioning.
- Measurement & Reporting:
- Track PR performance including media coverage quality, sentiment, share of voice, and message pull-through.
- Deliver regular performance reports with insights and recommendations.
Requirements:
- Experience & Background:
- 8–12+ years of experience in public relations, communications, or corporate affairs.
- Strong background in finance, fintech, technology, crypto, or other regulated industries.
- Proven experience managing Vietnam media and stakeholder relationships at a senior level.
- Experience handling sensitive or high-risk communications is strongly preferred.
- Skills & Competencies:
- Excellent storytelling, writing, and media engagement skills.
- Strong judgment and calm decision-making under pressure.
- Strategic thinker with hands-on execution capability.
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Bilingual English/Vietnamese is required to be able to coordinate with overseas partners and stakeholders.
