Who we are
📌 Cosmos Labs is the core team driving development and growth of the Cosmos blockchain ecosystem, Cosmos technology stack, and the Cosmos Hub. Cosmos powers the largest network of vertically integrated Layer 1 blockchains in the world: 200+ blockchains use the Cosmos Stack in production.
At Cosmos Labs, we are responsible for developing new software and products for the Cosmos Stack and its customers, building and maintaining customer relationships, growing the adoption of our Stack, and fostering the community of independent builders and end users in the Cosmos blockchain ecosystem. We focus on hiring the core team and senior talent to work together in person in NYC and Berlin to build a collaborative and supportive culture. We are open to hiring best-in-class remote talent anywhere within 6 hours of the NYC timezone.

We are seeking a Technical Program Manager (TPM) to lead end-to-end delivery of our blockchain implementation programs — ensuring on-time, high-quality outcomes across multiple client engagements.
Role Overview
As a Technical Program Manager, you will be the connective tissue between clients, engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders, both internal and external. You’ll drive complex, multi-disciplinary projects from concept, to deployment, all the way through upgrades and ongoing maintenance. You’ll oversee delivery timelines, manage risk, align technical execution with business goals, and help shape our program delivery methodology for enterprise blockchain solutions.
Individuals that excel in this role are able to drive ambiguous goals from clients into concrete requirements for both teams to actionize. They view themselves as world class orchestrators of cross-functional teams, consistently prioritizing unblocking individuals to make forward progress. They are able to quickly learn the industry and business of our clients, including learning the cultural norms to ensure a successful collaboration between all parties involved. They obsess over documenting everything so that a global team can all be in sync, even when timezones do not allow for frequent synchronous discussions. They care deeply about service.
You may not be a good fit for this role if you:
- Thrive on being the lone problem solver who prefers to handle everything yourself. The best person in this role knows how to get things done through others, drawing on the strengths, context, and resources around them to move faster and smarter.
- Are a perfectionist that needs to be involved in every detail or have deep clarity before taking action. Oftentimes the role of the TPM is to take in as input unclear needs and output clarity on the best next step to take given the current situation. TPMs thrive on iteration, trade-offs, and momentum, while trusting others to take care of their scope.
- Are deeply specialized in one type of business or use case. TPMs must drive projects end-to-end across many different types of businesses (FSBs, governments, multinational conglomerates, etc) and must be comfortable switching contexts between projects.
- Are a “reactive firefighter.” Although TPMs will have to act quickly and be responsive when things don’t go as planned, the main job of the TPM is to prevent fires through proper planning, iterating, and constant risk assessment throughout a project’s lifecycle.
- Want to fix every problem with a new process. We value outcome and impact over process. Nevertheless, TPMs should grow more efficiently at solving problems they’ve seen before.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the full delivery lifecycle of blockchain implementation programs — from scoping and requirements through deployment and post-launch support.
- Serve as the primary liaison between client stakeholders and Cosmos Labs’ technical teams.
- Translate business objectives into actionable technical deliverables and milestones.
- Coordinate across multiple internal teams (protocol engineering, product, operations, BD, and marketing) to ensure timely, high-quality outcomes.
- Develop and maintain detailed program roadmaps, schedules, and progress reports.
- Proactively identify delivery risks, implement mitigation plans, and contribute to continuous improvement of delivery frameworks and project governance standards.
- Ensure solutions are aligned with best practices in scalability, interoperability, and security.
Qualifications
Required:
- 3-5+ years of experience in technical program or project management in software, blockchain, or enterprise technology delivery in a customer facing capacity.
- Proven track record managing complex, cross-functional engineering projects with external clients.
- Demonstrated capability to deliver projects for the world’s largest enterprises (e.g Fortune 500s, major banks and financial institutions)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across international teams and customers.
- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Linear, Notion, Attio) and agile methodologies.
- Ability to translate technical concepts into clear business impacts.
Preferred:
- Background in software engineering, DevOps, or blockchain architecture.
- Strong understanding of blockchain concepts — consensus, validators, smart contracts, interoperability, and governance.
- Experience delivering enterprise or consortium blockchain solutions.
- Familiarity with Cosmos SDK, Tendermint, or other Layer-1 / Layer-2 ecosystems is a strong plus.
- Certifications such as PMP, Scrum Master, or SAFe.
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Willing to travel to work directly with the Enterprise clients face to face.
