This team is part of the Global Business Service (GBS) Centre, home to specialized teams of operations experts, many with years of first-hand experience across a wide range of industries and sectors. This team supports customers globally through different channels such as live chat, emails, tickets, social media, and many more. We work closely with all our key stakeholders, such as Marketing, Finance, and Payment Operations, to successfully launch various global products while understanding the associated risks and management strategies for business growth.
About the Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Senior Manager/Director of Business Operation Support to oversee and optimize the operational support functions of the organization. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in streamlining processes, enhancing efficiency, and driving cross-functional collaboration to achieve organizational goals. This position requires a blend of strategic thinking, team leadership, and operational expertise to support business growth and scalability.
Key Responsibilities: What You’ll be Doing

Lead the Business Operation Support (BOS) team in providing comprehensive support to all business functions.

Manage a team of up to 100 professionals, fostering a high-performance culture, encouraging professional growth, and ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Design and implement operational strategies aligned with the organization goals.

Identify and execute opportunities to streamline processes, enhance overall efficiency and drive cost reduction.

Well-versed in tools, systems, and technologies to boost department's productivity and efficiency

Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation across the organization.

Build and develop a high-performing team, encouraging professional growth and collaboration.

Provide clear guidance and support to team members, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Proactively identify and address risks that may impact business operations.

Ensure compliant with all internal and external rules, policies and regulations.

Develop and maintain contingency plans to minimize business disruptions.

Partner with senior leadership to establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and benchmarks for operational success.

Lead the development and execution of global initiatives to optimize the BOS function, framework, and location strategy.

Engage with senior management and board members to communicate progress on key initiatives and provide updates on operational performance.
Requirements: What We Look For In You

Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, operations management, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).

Experience: Minimum 8 years experience in operations management field with a proven track record of driving operational improvements and delivering significant measurable outcomes. Experience leading large, cross-functional teams is essential.

Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to influence cross-functional teams.

Skills: Proficient in project management methodologies and tools and process improvement frameworks (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, Agile methodology)

Skills: Exceptional problem-solving and strong analytical abilities. Advanced proficiency in data analysis, knowledge of automation tools and workflow management systems are a plus.
