Define and own the design vision and growth strategy for OEX & Pay product lines: set objectives (e.g., activation rates, retention lift, pay-product adoption) and turn them into design roadmaps.

Lead the design of high-leverage growth experiments: ideate, prototype, test, measure, iterate. Work with data/analytics to extract insights from funnels and user behaviour.

Scale the product design team: recruit, mentor, coach senior and mid-level designers. Build a high‐performing “One Design Team” across geographies.

Define performance frameworks and ensure accountability for measurable outcomes.

Establish and evolve design systems, patterns and processes to support rapid experimentation and consistent execution across global markets.

Advocate for clarity-first and locally-relevant design: maintain brand coherence, but optimise for local market conditions, languages, cultural nuance.

Collaborate closely with product managers, growth marketers, analytics/data teams, engineers, compliance & security to ensure design decisions align with business, user and regulatory goals.

Ensure that design work is deeply user-centred: drive user research, UX testing, usability studies, qualitative & quantitative feedback loops.

Be the voice of design within growth and product functions: elevate design’s role, communicate strategic value, influence senior leadership decisions.

Track and report on design impact: define and monitor KPIs (e.g., CAC, LTV, activation rate, retention curve) and tie design work to business outcomes.

10+ years of experience in design leadership and management, with a track record of building and scaling teams.

Extensive experience designing for financial products, preferably in trading, fintech, or payments.

Strong ability to hire, mentor, and retain top design talent, fostering a culture of excellence.

Deep understanding of human-centered design principles and a passion for delivering exceptional user experiences.

Expertise in breaking down complex financial products into intuitive, user-friendly designs.

Proven track record of working in fast-paced environments, managing multiple dependencies, and prioritizing tasks independently.

Strong data literacy: comfortable interpreting analytics, A/B tests, behavioural metrics; partnering with data/analytics.

Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills: able to influence product, engineering, growth, marketing, compliance stakeholders.

Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to advocate for design decisions persuasively.

Bachelor’s degree in Product Design, Web Design, or equivalent experience.
