We are seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Business Developer/Fund Sales to join our Zurich headquarters. As a member of our dynamic Asset Management team, your responsibilities will include the following:
• Drive business development efforts regarding our investment solutions with a focus on private banks, family offices, external asset managers, institutional and crypto native investors.
• Manage existing client relationships with a focus on selected European markets and the French-speaking part of Switzerland.
• Expand the network across designated client segments and regions.
• Assist Sygnum's relationship managers with Asset Management Solutions matters.
• Lead product specific sales campaigns and client events for asset management topics in designated regions in collaboration with marketing (including roadshows, conferences, webinars and educational outreaches).
• Collaborate with the Asset Management team to further develop our asset management offering.
• Serve as a thought leader in direct client interactions and as a speaker at external seminars and panels, ensuring that the firm's crypto offerings remain prominent in clients' minds.
• Proactively assist internal and external prospects and current investors with client reporting, marketing materials, and monthly team updates.
  • Minimum 5 years’ proven experience and track record in a business development/sales client-facing role within asset management
  • Existing network within client segments of private banks, family offices and external asset managers (network within other institutional investors is a plus) in European markets and the French-speaking part of Switzerland, or with crypto native investors
  • Strong knowledge of asset management markets and products
  • Strong interest in and knowledge of crypto currencies and blockchain
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business or related field
  • High level of client service skills and negotiation skills
  • Excellent written, verbal communication skills and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong ownership, relentlessly resourceful, enjoys working within an entrepreneurial environment
  • Fluent English. French and/or German desired, Italian is a plus
