We are looking to enhance our team in Banking Operations with a smart mind that tackles challenges with a hands-on attitude and improvement-oriented mindset.
Banking Operations is primarily responsible for the setup and maintenance of static data relating to clients and instruments (incl. cryptos and tokenized assets), the processing of transactions (namely payments, post-trade settlement and clearing) as well as reconciliation and selected regulatory reporting’s. Banking Operations thus contributes to ensuring an optimum customer service, at optimum cost/benefit and risk/benefit relations, by correctly entering relevant data and information into the systems, timely and accurately processing the different types of transactions, ensuring that transaction and position entries are correct, as well as by issuing reports within its scope of responsibility to the relevant stakeholders.
We look for someone with broad interests and versatile skills. In this position, you report directly to the Head of Banking Operations Processing, who reports to the Head Banking Operations.

• Assisting in tokenization processes, client onboarding, reporting, static data reconciliation.
• Participating in projects focused on digital transformation and process automation in banking operations.
• Supporting the operational integration of new products and services.
• Contributing to the delivery of exceptional operational services across various departments, aligning with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Assisting in enhancing and maintaining our team’s operational procedures in accordance with Sygnum’s policies.
• Collaborating on streamlining processes and introducing innovative solutions for operational efficiency.
• Working with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and compliant banking transactions.
  • Currently pursuing a degree or recently graduated with a focus on Banking, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Good understanding of cryptocurrencies, blockchain, tokenization.
  • Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
  • Intrigued by technology, particularly blockchain and digital assets.
  • Enthusiastic about working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrates a team-oriented, hands-on approach to problem-solving.
  • Eager to learn and grow in the rapidly evolving field.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on process efficiency.

Nice to have:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel for macros, Python, and SQL for task automation and database management, is advantageous.
  • Exposure to a Fintech or similar innovative environment is desirable.
