The CEO of Sygnum Europe will be responsible to implement the strategic mandate, drive commercial success and ensure regulatory compliance of the entity. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial services, a solid understanding of the digital assets industry, and a proven leadership track record in a regulated environment.
Strategic and Cultural Leadership: • Co-develop and implement the entity’s strategic mandate and long-term goals. • Maintain strong connections to the Group and its relevant stakeholders and functions. • Drive innovation and growth across our local digital asset service platform.
Commercial Success: • Drive the development of our European business to achieve set financial targets. • Identify and capitalize on new market opportunities within the strategic mandate. • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners. • Represent Sygnum publicly, e.g., at industry and client events, conferences, etc.
Regulatory Management: • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements and relevant industry standards. • Liaise with regulatory bodies and represent the company in regulatory discussions. • Implement robust risk management frameworks and policies.

Proven experience in a senior executive role within the financial services industry
Visionary leadership with strong ethical standards and integrity
Passion for building connections and ability to represent the company to external audiences including clients, media, and industry stakeholders
Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements in Liechtenstein/Europe (MiCAR, DORA etc.) and ability to navigate complex regulatory landscapes
Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated ability to drive commercial success and operational excellence
Proven track record in driving commercial growth and achieving ambitious financial targets
Interest and understanding of the digital assets industry and blockchain technology
Valid Liechtenstein work permit and availability to work on-site at least 3 days per week
