As a Trade Operations Specialist, you are a key part of Sygnum’s trading team – ensuring that liquidity, collateral, and exposure are managed seamlessly across crypto spot, crypto derivatives, FX and traditional assets. You maintain best-in-class standards in daily operations while driving the continuous improvement of our post-trade and liquidity processes, supporting scalable and robust operations in a 24/7 crypto trading environment.
You will:
• Own the post-trade lifecycle across trading products and counterparties. • Manage settlements, reconciliations, and collateral flows to ensure accurate and timely completion of all post-trade processes. • Monitor and control exposure limits across counterparties and products to ensure sufficient trading capacity at all times. • Coordinate liquidity with trading counterparties in close collaboration with Treasury. • Act as the central point of contact for Ops, Risk, Finance, Trading, clients, and liquidity providers on settlement and exposure topics. • Drive cross-functional initiatives to strengthen post-trade architecture, ensuring systems, controls, and processes scale effectively with trading growth and new products. • Identify automation and tooling improvements to further streamline post-trade flows. • Design and implement scalable operating models for liquidity management. • Support new product launches by designing fit-for-purpose post-trade processes.
You are a hands-on post-trade expert with a sharp eye for detail and a proactive mindset. You thrive in complex, fast-moving environments and take ownership from start to finish. You combine operational precision with the drive to design smarter, more scalable processes. We’re looking for someone who:
Has 5+ years of experience in banking or trading operations, ideally in mid-office or post-trade roles.
Holds a degree in business administration, banking, finance, or a related field.
Brings deep expertise in settlements, reconciliations, and exposure management across multiple asset classes.
Has a proven track record of improving and automating post-trade processes.
Communicates clearly and calmly, even under pressure, and builds trust across teams.
Delivers with precision and professionalism, ensuring stakeholders feel well-supported.
Is confident engaging directly with trading counterparties, clients and other external stakeholders.
Thinks ahead, anticipates needs, and takes ownership of practical solutions.
Maintains top-tier standards of accuracy, responsiveness, and stakeholder service in all post-trade activities.
